For third time S. Sukhminder Singh Hansra was unanimously appointed coordinator for 2011-2012. Mr. Sukhminder Singh Hansra demonstrated great organizational skill during past few years and club members felt that he should lead press club for another year. At annual meeting in Monte Carlo inn in Mississauga , Mr. Hansra was nominated and immediately selected as the next coordinator of Punjabi Press Club of Canada. He is a well known personality in the Media. He has produced most talked about radio show for 16 YEARS and television show for 11 YEARS called Ankhila Punjab. Now he is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Punjabi Daily, Managing editor of the Sikh Press and host of Ankhila Punjab Radio.

Tehal S. Brar

The Punjabi Press Club held 9th Annual Conference at Airport Bukhara Restaurant in Mississauga. A freelance journalist Tehal Singh Brar was nominated and selected to serve as the Coordinator for 2010-2011.  Mr. Brar has been a long time public servant and freelance journalist. He is also involved in various community organizations, He was chosen by the members of PPC unanimously because of his dedication and commitment.

Avtar S. Rakhra

The Punjabi Press Club held 8th Annual Conference at Monte Carlo Inn in Mississauga. Avtar S. Rakhra of Sangeet Radio was appointed Coordinator for 2009-2010. Mr. Rakhra is a long time radio and television broadcaster, currently producing and hosting Radio Sangeet on CJMR 1320am Radio. The Punjabi Press Club held 7th Annual Conference at White Oak Resort, Niagara-on-the-Lake on September 20th, 2008. Joginder S. Grewal was appointed Coordinator for 2008-2009. Punjabi Press Club has appointed Jagdish Grewal of Punjabi Post, Coordinator for 2007-2008. Mr. Grewal is a chief editor of Punjabi Post, Daily Newspaper and has been in Media for long time. He also produces and hosts Khabarsar radio Show. Annual conference was held on Sep. 14-15th 2007 in Huntsville. In beautiful Muskoka Inn Press Club was able to discuss serious issue facing Punjabi Press and Punjabi Community.

Dr. Ranbir Sharda

Recently in 2005, Press Club member met in Perry Sound Ontario for two days. Many Issues were discussed and Dr. Ranvir Sharda was appointed Coordinator for 2005-2006. Mr. Sharda is a chief editor of NAGARA Weekly and has been in Media since early 70s. During this convention, PPC was able,  not only discuss serious issues related to the press but also took on responsibility of their role in the community to raise awareness about employment equality within Mississauga and Brampton City Halls and development of Punjabi Language in CANADA.

Rajinder Saini

In 2004, convention was held at prestigious WHITE OAK resort in Niagara-On-The-Lake. Mr. Rajinder Saini was appointed Coordinator for 2004-2005. Rajinder Saini is an editor in chief and founder of Parvasi Weekly. He is also a producer and a host of the Parvasi Radio. Mr. Saini was marred by series of false charges from evils of the community and PPC took those attacks as an attack on Press and successfully fought back.

Jaspal Shetra

In 2003, the Convention was also held in Niagara Falls where Jaspal Shetra was appointed Coordinator for 2003-2004. Mr. Shetra is a well known in press here in CANADA and back home in PUNJAB. He has worked with Major newspapers in INDIA. Since immigrated to CANADA he is affiliated with Panj Pani and also edit weekly English Newspaper “SOUTH ASIAN OBSERVER”. During this year PPC launched an extensive drive against fortunate tellers and fake astrologers. It was well received by readers and the community at large.
